6-week Foundation Chapter. No required PD. No compliance tracking.

When Awareness Isn’t Enough
Many SEL programs successfully build reflection and belonging.
But schools are increasingly asking a more practical question:
How does insight stabilize behavior across classrooms?
What RootedSparks Adds
RootedSparks closes that gap by integrating:
• Emotional awareness as signal — not instruction
• Executive function routines that expand the decision window
• Structured repetition inside real classroom conditions
Students don’t just understand what matters.
They practice choosing it — repeatedly.
Outcomes
Over time, schools begin to see:
- more consistent student follow-through
- faster resets after peer conflict
- shared language that transfers across classrooms and divisions

What Happens at 10 am?
Lessons are modular and designed for real schedules — typically 20–45 minutes — and can scale up or down based on advisory structure.
All materials are fully prepared.
Teachers facilitate. They do not design.
Participation is structured through clear norms.
Students are invited, not pressured, to engage.
Application is emphasized over personal disclosure.
1. Learn (10–15 minutes)
Students engage with a short scenario-driven challenge aligned to two core capability domains.
Teachers use a ready-to-run slide deck and facilitator prompts to surface:
• decision points
• tradeoffs
• potential consequences
Clear structure.
Clear pacing.
No preparation required.
2. Do (10–15 minutes)
Students move from reflection into rehearsal.
They practice applying the skill through:
• structured decision exercises
• scenario adjustments or role-play
• written planning tools
• accountability mapping
• strategy calibration
This is where insight becomes repetition.
3. Discuss & Reflect (10–15 minutes)
Students debrief:
• What worked?
• What didn’t?
• What would you adjust next time?
Teachers guide conversation to reinforce executive function, follow-through, and peer repair.
Each lesson closes with a transfer step that students apply before the next advisory.

High (9–12): 4 grades × $950 = $3,800/year
Schools that complete the Foundation Chapter aren't evaluating the program. They're already running it.
