Grade 5
What kind of impact do my choices create?
Grade 5 students learn to notice what happened, catch the story their brain starts telling, pause before reacting, choose a stronger move, and understand the ripple their choice creates in friendships, group work, and classroom community.
This aligns with the upper elementary thinking system—Notice → Check → Pause → Choose → Ripple → Repair—and prepares students to transition into middle school with greater awareness, responsibility, and control.
Studio 1 — Notice & Check
Students learn to separate what happened from the story their brain tells and begin to question assumptions.
Studio 2 — Pause & Choose
Students practice pausing before reacting and making stronger, more intentional decisions.
Studio 3 — Ripple & Repair
Students explore how their choices impact others and how to repair when things go wrong.
